Chamber of Deputies, 8th election term, 2017 -
Meetings of the Chamber of Deputies refer to plenary sessions of the lower house of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. Plenary sessions are usually held in the Assembly Hall of the historical Thun Palace (Sněmovní 4). The meetings can be convened by the President of the Chamber of Deputies based on a resolution of the Chamber or based on a written request of at least one-fifth of all members of the Chamber of Deputies. Such a meeting shall be held within 10 days of delivery of the request to the President of the Chamber of Deputies. The agenda of each plenary session shall be approved by the Chamber of Deputies.
Meetings of the Chamber of Deputies are public, unless the Chamber resolves that a specific meeting or its part shall be closed to the public.
